Jessica Simpson Considers Making Country Album

Jessica Simpson is having one last stab at her dismal career after her failures at pop music, reality TV and film – She’s going back into music, but this time has opted for singing country. Yee-ha!
Joe Simpson, Papa of Jessica and also her manager, told People that his daughter is "talking about doing a country record and going back to her roots, being from Texas.
"Everything in our business is about beats and I think she really wants to sing, and country music still believes in that.
"She's a singer from top to bottom," the proud father said. "And everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left."
When asked if he thinks Jessica will be accepted into country music, he responded: "She's from Texas. How could she not?"
